Do words inspire you? On a stormy day, warm soup, good company, and wise words can warm us. Wrap yourself up and grab a bowl, I have fresh warm words for you.
In our office two wall hangings are printed with words to remind us that we can give ourselves interior support. Buddha is one of many inspirational leaders and here are two of his sayings. Just to let you in on my good company, Mary, my good friend and fellow woman leader is here as I put this blog together, and she is inspiring me to share with you.
Buddha – Words to Inspire
“You, yourself, as much as anybody in the entire universe, deserve your love and affection.”
What does that mean? Basically, we are much nicer to other people than we are to ourselves. So, where do you go with that? Be as good to yourself as you are to others. We tend to be more tolerant of other people than we are of ourselves. Be nice to yourself.
“We are what we think. All that we are arises with our thoughts. With our thoughts, we make the world.”
How does this affect what you are thinking right now? It’s certainly an incentive not to dwell on negative thoughts, but to reframe on positive views of the world and what one is doing.
Inspire “YOU” with words that support and grow and hug you to your very core. Remember: We are here for you, but you can do it for yourself. Enjoy your day with our warm affection and thoughts.
